Masquerade (2011) is the tenth album from Caprice, the Russian neoclassical ensemble led by composer Anton Brejestovski and the seraphic voice of Inna Brejestovskaya. Stepping aside from their famed elven cycles, the band drape their acoustic chamber sound — harp, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, with a breath of electronics — in a veil of costume and intrigue. Lush, theatrical and impossibly elegant.
